ADVANCE and ePub-Watch Applications Update

Due to the recent cyber intrusion the Postal Service™ has implemented safeguards to protect information for both our employees and our customers. As part of this process, customer-facing applications were reviewed to determine their technological sustainability and possible vulnerability.

In our effort to provide the best and most secure service to our customers, the Postal Service is discontinuing two applications which allowed customers to track and monitor their mailings: ADVANCE and ePub-Watch. The Postal Service offers many other products that allow customers to track and monitor mail, such as Full-service Intelligent Mail®, IMb Tracing®, and USPS Tracking™. Information on these programs can be found on both RIBBS® and usps.com®.

Dead Tree Edition: USPS May Seek a Rate Hike After All

The Association for Postal Commerce aka PostCom, a multi-industry trade group for business mailers, reports that USPS is readying itself for the next postal price change to be effective April 26, 2015.” PostCom’s “heard it through the grapevine” reports on Postal Service doings are usually right on the mark.
