Winter Storm Nemo USPS Mail Service Updates

without comments

The U.S. Postal Service is closely watching Winter Storm Nemo and will be updating our consumers about delivery services to your homes and businesses. For us to deliver your mail safely, we ask that steps and walkways be cleared of snow and ice after the storm.

States affected by the storm are: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Curbside mailboxes should be shoveled out so carriers can deliver or collect mail without having to leave their vehicles. The area near the mailbox should be cleared to give the carrier access.

Apparently whomever wrote this is not IN Connecticut like I am.  I expect my mailbox will be cleared around the end of March, beginning of April.

Dead Tree Edition: USPS Admits FSS Is Losing Money

Dead Tree Edition: USPS Admits FSS Is Losing Money.

No surprise there….
The USPS repeats this pattern throughout, making the same mistakes over and over again.  Instead of changing the “vision”, once the vision is set – it is locked in with blinders, full steam ahead.

To add, be sure to read the comments to the Dead tree Edition Post.  One of the major aggravations with the USPS is that it is all about counts, totals, reports – not results.
