IMb Tracing™

without comments

As a rule, I don’t usually post here about my specific business, however today I’m making an exception…thank you in advance for indulging me, and I promise not to make a habit of it.

I’m starting to see a lot of cut-rate, johnny-come-lately mail tracking offerings littering the press release circuit like bad news travels fast.  IMb Tracing™ is an extremely valuable, under-utilized data source for tracking individual mailpieces.  However – always keep in mind some simple, common sense advice — do you homework!  Make comparisons.  If something sounds too good to be true, or is free, well – that is usually because there is little value behind the facade. Just because something is “mobile” or “apps available” or “in the cloud” – buzzwords don’t always equate to results.

The mother-load of value when using IMb Tracing™ is in being able to take advantage of the experience and wealth of consulting knowledge that comes only from working with those companies that have been involved, who have paid their dues, who have pioneered mail piece tracking and developed it to where it is today.  I would like to think my company, intelisent, is in that elite group, along with worthy competitors such as GrayHair Software and TrackMyMail.   Don’t fall into the NEW or FREE or MOBILE or APP trap.  Every tracking consumer has different needs, and opportunities of which they may not have even considered.  Consult and collaborate on a mail tracking strategy that gives you the best value, with the assistance, consulting, and services your mailings need.  There is no one size fits all mail tracking “solution”.

Talk to the people who are active in the industry, who participate in Trade Association stewardship, who participate in MTAC, IDEAlliance, industry working groups, the folks who go the extra mile to share knowledge, educate, and represent.  Get the most for your mailing investments, and don’t sell yourself short.   Your projects are worth more than “free”.

Interesting take on the barriers the USPS faces when trying to be competitive.
