Adjusted ACS Data Retention Policy

without comments

Earlier this month, the USPS sent out a notice drastically reducing the data retention time for ACS users on the new Electronic Product Fulfillment system (see http://tinyurl.com/3z8rqzq).  When I saw this new policy, I contacted MTAC leadership, who intervened and was able to quickly get a policy adjustment.  This adjustment was communicated today via the ACS Department.

From the ACS Department:

Primary Audience: All ACS® Customers retrieving ACS Fulfillments through EPF

What: The ACS Fulfillment File retention on EPF has been increased to 95 days to align with the retention period previously available on RIBBS. This announcement supersedes the previous announcement sent on June 12, 2011 stating that ACS data would only be retained on EPF for 30 days.

When: Immediately

Impact: ACS fulfillment files that have been posted longer than 95 days will automatically be deleted from your EPF account.
