National Postal Forum Winding Up

without comments

Catching my breath as I attend the last Intelligent Mail Technical session at National Postal Forum in Nashville.  Kudos to the NPF team for putting together a great Forum.

Here is some basic information coming from the Forum:
The April 13 and 14 special editions of the PCC Insider

USPS discusses GAO Report

Intelligent Mail and the Census Mailing – the problem with this article is the missing information – no mention of Confirm service, which leaves the impression that individual piece tracking can be done with Full Service Intelligent Mail – not true.  Individual piece level information is only available with Confirm service as an add-on to Intelligent Mail.   At both NPF Intelligent Mail Technical sessions, however, Pritha Mehra, USPS VP of Business Mail Entry and Payment Technologies, made it very clear when the question came up that Confirm was a separate service, available as an add on for use with Intelligent Mail.  Pritha is an engaging and informative speaker.  As I write this, Pritha is doing an excellent job of engaging the audience, and helping attendees to understand some difficult Full-Service IMb components and concepts.

I’ll be writing more as I get back into the swing of things.  Did you attend?  Did you find it valuable?  Comment this blog or email me privately.
